The Paintings

I'm currently busy painting new watercolours, which I'll be adding to this page as they are completed. Recent interest in the newer watercolours has prompted me to offer them for sale via this website.

Woodland Flowers
17th Oct 2009: I've had a long break from painting, but am back for now and have added this, my latest unframed painting. This is a 12¾" x 17¾" watercolour featuring cooler greens and blues with warm red flower petals. This will be placed into a frame when time allows. This painting is available for sale at €300 (includes packing) plus shipping & insurance.

Chili Peppers
25th Mar 2009: This is a 12¾" x 17¾" watercolour featuring reds and greens of hot chili peppers and their cool leaves. This will also be put into a frame when time allows. This painting is available for sale at €300 (includes packing) plus shipping & insurance.

Limes and Lemons
25th Feb 2009: This is a 12¾" x 17¾" watercolour featuring the strong citrus theme of limes and lemons. This will be framed as soon as I get the time. This painting is available for sale at €300 (includes packing) plus shipping & insurance.

Pomegranates and Olives
10th Feb 2009: Here is another unframed painting I've just completed. This is a 12¾" x 17¾" watercolour featuring pomegranates and olives with an olive branch. This is also destined to be framed. This painting is available for sale at €300 (includes packing) plus shipping & insurance.

Hanging Lanterns
24th Jan 2009: I've added another unframed painting that I've just completed at the time of writing, which is a 12¾" x 17¾" watercolour featuring hanging lanterns. It is now framed and hanging in my living room along with the previous watercolour of leaves. This painting is available for sale at €300 (includes packing) plus shipping & insurance.

Leaves of Hue
18th Nov 2008: The first unframed painting is one I have just completed it as at the time of writing this additional piece. It's a 17¾" x 12¾" watercolour in landscape orientation of a simple collection of leaves and seed pods taken from a photograph and modified into my own style. This painting is available for sale at €300 (includes packing) plus shipping & insurance.

Older Paintings

The four framed paintings were painted several years ago and were hidden away in my portfolio for a long time. Last year I took them out and had them framed. The twelve squares are small watercolours of Andalucian pueblo scenes painted over ten years ago. "The deck" is done in pastels.

These four paintings are currently hanging in a small exhibition in a hotel in Malaga (Spain). The large version of the images were lost when our hard drive crashed recently, so new ones will have to be taken.

The painting of the old man is hanging in my living room at home. It was done in acrylics with just the spatula and came out of a period of depression, which has been reflected in the mood of the piece.

Note: For some reason, the images of the paintings displayed here on this page and elsewhere on the website have come out a little darker than they actually are in real life. It may have something to do with the camera I used.
